Rules

Colour clashes

The teams strips are on the website. In the event of a clash it is always the home team, I.e. First team on the team sheet, that plays in their own colors. The away team must sort different color out. PS - black and dark blue are too similar as are yellow and light green to name a few!

Cards

There will be a new system for cards. Yellow cards shall result in a 10minute sin bin. 2 Yellow cards off. Straight Red cards off.

Violent behaviour/language towards refs can't be tolerated.

Substitutes

There is a rolling sub policy. You must alert the ref each time a sub is made. Continual substitutions at the end of a game shall be deemed as time wasting. Refs shall add minutes on in this instance

No shows

In the event of a no show the absent team shall forfeit the game 3-0 and receive a one point penalty. Let's avoid this.

Cancellation of fixture/re-arrangement

It is the responsibility of the two team captains to discuss cancellation of a fixture and/or a possible rearrangement. This MUST be done before 5pm Wednesday. This deadline is so people still have time to organise their weekends.

Captains detailsare under the Captains tab in each teams log in page on the website. We shall provide the numbers for refs/alternative pitch locations. It is up to you to arrange payment (in order to minimise cost etc. We pay in advance so rarely have funds on account, by all means ask and we shall see what we can help with)

You MUST call the refs to cancel/or arrange with them to come and ref on new date. You must then email Hugh and/or Ru once done.

Please note it is up to the available teams captain whether they wish to reorganise. Fixtures and other activities can limit time available.

If a team initially agrees to reschedule but no date can be arranged it is the originally unavailable team that takes the 3-0 defeat. This does not incur a no show, therefore no 1 point deduction.

NEW LATENESS RULES!

Since the first 2 games I have had a few complaints from teams being late for KO. This is totally justified as very annoying for all involved.

I know that the traffic around Barnes is bad but for all those teams involved in the league for the 2nd or 3rd season you should know this and new teams I hope you are aware that this can be the case.

Therefore, we have devised a new set of Rules to counter act any problems going forward. These rules have to be followed as this will hopefully prevent teams from casually turning up.

So the new rules are as follows.(These rules will only fall in place when a team has 11 players ready to go).

If a team is up to 5 mins late then they will have to play with 10 men for the first 15 minutes.

If late between 5-15 mins - the late team will start a goal down and also have to play with 10 men for the first 15 mins.

If late between 15-30 minutes -then the late team will start 2 goals down and also have to play with 10 men for the first 15 mins.

We have made sure the referees are aware of these rules and will make sure thta the clock starts ticking at the 12pm and 2pm KO's.

Complaints/thoughts

Please don't hesitate to email Hugh or Ru if you have an issue you want to discuss.
